This is a great opportunity for a Rostering/Administration Officer wanting to establishing their career in a growing NDIS organization. Work with a small team that is expanding rapidly and enjoy the ride with us

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Rostering/Administration Officer will be responsible for the allocation of shifts to our Support Workers for our NDIS clients ranging from short-term, mid-term and Supported Independent Living accommodations. Additionally, assist with administrative tasks and triage enquires to the right department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the roster according to the Annual Workforce Plan
- Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiries
- Scheduling of support staff and ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely manner
- Understanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care plan
- Identifying gaps in the roster, ensuring there is a pool of support workers credentialed and ready for shifts
- Engage and communicate effectively within all divisions of NDIS
- Reporting incidents immediately in line with the NDIS Incident reporting
- Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager

**About you**:

- 1+ year experience rostering within the healthcare sector (desirable)
- Passion to work in the community services sector and support our clients with disability
- Ability to calmly perform in high pressure situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills in being able to engage and communicate across internal and external stakeholders
- Solutions mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and problem solving
- Current or willing to obtain National Police check
- Current or willing to obtain NDIS workers screening check
- Current or willing to obtain Working with Children check
- Vaccinated against Covid-19
