Graduate Mining Engineers at Westgold Resources will launch their mining careers through a comprehensive 2-year program, gaining hands-on experience across multiple mine sites in Western Australia.
Your role
Responsibilities
Participating in a 2-year Graduate Program with tailored mentoring, technical development, and role-specific training.
Completing rotations across Westgold's six underground mines and four processing plants in the Murchison and Southern Goldfields regions.
Gaining practical underground experience required for the First Class Mine Managers Certificate.
Collaborating with seasoned professionals to develop highly sought-after mining skills.
Working an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster based in Perth.
About you
Qualifications
Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.
Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
Strong computer literacy skills.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
