. This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025. At Sheoak Grove Primary School (PS), located on Nyilla Approach in Baldivis, we welcome children from Kindergarten to Year 6 and are committed to providing the best educational opportunities within a supportive and connected community. Sheoak Grove PS opened in 2020 as an Independent Public School and is in one of Perth's fastest-growing areas.
The Role
As a primary music teacher at Sheoak Grove PS, you would establish an inclusive and culturally safe classroom environment, set high expectations, and promote reflective learning. We are seeking educators who are passionate about music and the arts, who can inspire students through creative expression and responding to the Arts. The role involves providing engaging arts experiences that help students build key learner qualities such as persistence, creativity, critical thinking, self-reflection, collaboration, and effective communication. The teacher will also be an active member of a Professional Learning Community that uses data to inform practices and focus on continuous improvement.
