OverviewSenior Heritage Advisor - TOP $$$$'s - Immediate Start at Data SentryWe are seeking a qualified Senior Heritage Advisor/Archaeologist with demonstrated project management experience.
This role offers the chance to utilize your expertise and satisfy your sense of adventure through exciting, consultative projects across Victoria.ResponsibilitiesOversee cultural heritage projects from inception to completion, including managing project milestones and stakeholder engagementBuild strong relationships with Traditional OwnersPrepare reports such as CHMPs, CHPs, survey reports, salvage reports, and due diligence assessmentsSupervise archaeological field surveys and excavationsCoordinate the repatriation of cultural heritage materialMentor team members and foster industry awarenessKey Selection Criteria5+ years' experience delivering large-scale projects5+ years of work experience with ArchaeologyAccreditation as a Heritage AdvisorBachelor\'s Degree in Archaeology (minimum Honours level)Proven ability to consult and collaborate with diverse stakeholdersExpertise in cultural heritage legislation, including the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 and Heritage Act 2017Strong technical writing and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesGIS experience is highly desirableBenefitsHighly competitive remuneration and benefits packageSenior role with flexible hoursModerate project load supporting improved work/life balancePassionate, supportive, and professional teamOpportunities to collaborate on community research projects and partner with Traditional Owners for meaningful outcomesStructured career development pathwaysAutonomy to work from a CBD office or remotelyAbout the TeamOur team includes passionate and experienced Heritage Advisors, Archaeologists, and GIS specialists who pride themselves on forming genuine partnerships with Traditional Owners and delivering exceptional heritage consulting services.Next StepsApply now to join our supportive team.Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
