**About the role**:
Reporting to the Outbound Optimisation Lead, the SAS Analyst is responsible for making modifications to existing and/or building new SAS processes. As a SAS Data Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with our strategic business partners, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and utilizing your problem-solving skills to discover innovative solutions. Your fresh ideas and proactive mindset will be highly valued as you contribute to our ongoing efforts for continuous improvement.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities of this role include:

- Work in close partnership the Growth Analytics Manager and Data Integration Manager to understand existing processes and business requirements
- Quickly understand large, complicated data sets and SAS processes including fine nuances
- Mapping out and documenting data production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing improvements. Ability to translate complex processes into clean and concise flowchart diagrams, ensuring that essential steps and decision points are captured accurately.
- Development of optimised SAS code in line with business requirements and best-in-class practices
- Work to optimise existing processes, improve efficiency, and increase robustness of business-critical processes
- Ensure alignment to Bupa's risk governance and documentation standards
- Working with business partners to ensure clear comprehensive documentation of requirements and processes
- Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure optimal utilisation of available resources and impending technologies - ensure our requirements are proactively addressed and onboarded as we transition to newer data architectures
- Other data provision, reporting facilitation or data analysis work as required for stakeholders
- Provide training to other analysts on CBO operational related data and reporting knowledge and process
- Strategic problem-solving, be curious, find opportunities and implement of new ideas

**What do I need?**
- Business relevant qualification (Eg. Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Science, IT, Management etc.)
- Advanced experience in SAS is mandatory
- Strong understanding of ETL processes
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders with best-in-class data storytelling out of disparate data and information sources.
- Ability to build strong advisory relationships with stakeholders through engagement and collaboration across the organizational structure.
- Strategic problem-solving, finding opportunities and implementation of new ideas.
- Experience working with contact centre operations or other back-of-house processing environments is beneficial.
