**The Role**
The Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role within our Field Services team coordinating all maintenance activities. From balancing current and predicted equipment condition information to allow efficient scheduling that ensures equipment is proactively maintained, repairs are timely, and assets operate smoothly, contributing to the overall success of the field service function.
You will be responsible for developing a detailed rolling routine and corrective maintenance plan to optimise assets throughout their lifecycle.
This role will be based in our Derrimut Facility.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and manage detailed schedules for corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Review all required maintenance, collating and updating information in a detailed plan
- Align the maintenance plan with budgetary obligations
- Collaborate with other field service team members, project managers and engineering managers to develop maintenance strategies and ensure efficient and effective maintenance of critical assets
- Work with Discipline Engineers to develop and maintain maintenance strategy
- Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities
- Develop work packs to support maintenance activities on site for planned preventative maintenance.
- Track inventory to ensure timely repairs and minimise downtime
- Procure materials for maintenance activities following on procurement processes
- Ensure that company machinery and fleet used in operations, manufacturing and project delivery and supporting client services is in optimal working conditions.
- Develop maintenance strategies, monitor work order, and perform diagnostic investigations when necessary.
**About You**:
- Trade qualification, engineering degree or appropriate time in role equipment knowledge
- Technical understanding of condition monitoring and asset health principles
- CMMS system experience
- Planning and Scheduling coordination experience
- Strong organisational skills to ensure each part of the business has what it needs to function efficiently daily.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise task efficiently.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- A solid understanding of machinery and equipment used in the business.
