We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist us in electricity maintenance services based out of our Broadmeadows depot.

**About the role**

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing technical expertise in relation to maintenance and asset replacement requirements; as well as planning, implementation and monitoring of work programs to improve system reliability and capability.

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Monitoring, review and undertake network maintenance, asset replacement based on system notifications, monitor, update the works management system and all relevant works meet the necessary quality levels, timeframes and costs
- Manage inventory to meet planning requirements and implement the necessary audit programs and cost controls
- Fault and Emergency response management
- Budgeting, forecasting, managing operational asset registers and regulatory and company compliance
- Develop and strengthen relationship with Asset Management to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst matching delivery capabilities

**About You**
- Clear understanding of resource planning
- Knowledge of High Voltage &/ Low Voltage overhead and underground construction and maintenance within the electricity environment
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP work order management will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Relevant trade/tertiary qualification or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline and current Australian drivers licence
