YOUR ROLE
Mon-Fri, 7.00am – 3.00pm shift
Base rate of $32.52 / hour + 13.75% super
Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA, the details of which can be found at fwc.gov.au.
We're looking for a driven and focused Yardperson to provide ongoing support within operations, at our Finished Vehicle Logistics branch at Mt St John QLD.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
Responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing vehicles to ensure they meet presentation standards and are ready for customer delivery or transportation
Preparing and staging vehicles for local and interstate drivers
Inspect incoming vehicles for any pre-existing damage and record findings
Scan vehicles into our system to track and update their exact location
Travel across to our other compounds/worksites as required.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate is someone looking to gain broader experience within transport operations, whilst providing valuable "hands on" support in a fast paced setting.
You should also have:
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
Be proficient in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Ability to follow detailed work instructions
High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
