**The role**:
In response to the regulatory environment and the increasing digital use of data we need a future ready privacy and ethical capability that will enable NAB to develop innovative and commercial uses of data, in ways which are fair, ethical, and lawful to build and maintain the trust of our customers and employees.

The **Head of Privacy and Data Ethics Operations** will translate the strategy of the business into functional effectiveness for ensuring the Risk and Compliance for Privacy are managed well within the Enterprise. This role will be accountable for the design of effective guidance and practice guides, coupled with the implementation of best practice for Privacy across NAB.

**What you will bring**:

- Proven in-depth experience in Privacy Risk Management
- Demonstrated experience operating in a highly regulated industry
- Exceptional leadership experience leading teams within the Privacy Risk Management domain
- Exceptional privacy and risk management expertise coupled with a solid understanding of the regulatory environment and privacy-by-design principles
- Ability to deliver on identified integration objectives, and strategically drive transformation to incorporate privacy
- Building capability within an organisation to ensure the consideration of privacy in day-to-day business operations
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Operational Risk and Compliance
- Extensive business acumen across divisions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to focus and drive change effectively
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in law, accounting or commence, along with a relevant privacy qualification such as CIPM, CIPP, CIPT
