**ABOUT THE ROLE.**
Due to continual growth, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who possesses the working knowledge of a range of industry sectors, ideally Education and Commercial to join our team in Melbourne.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your career further in our growing, driven and hardworking team.
Duties include;
- Reviewing and understanding design consultants' drawings
- Estimating and cost planning
- Inputting into value engineering
- Tender analysis and assisting in producing tender reports
- Conduct cost checks, carry out progress claim and variation assessments
- Dealing effectively and producing post contract cost reports
- Contract administrative agreement of final accounts
- Client facing at all stages of projects
**ABOUT YOU.**
- Up to 2-4 years of post-graduation experience
- Completed or working towards APC for MRICS or AIQS chartered status
- Financial monitoring experience
- Experience of using Microsoft Office suite as well as CostX or similar
- Ability to work flexibly with strong organisational skills to manage workload
- Innovative and adaptable to change with a professional and dedicated attitude
- Willingness to develop, learn and progress within your career
- Possess strong communication skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care.
