What does the job look like?

The primary objective of the Head of Architecture is to develop and support the delivery of a customer-led IT strategy that establishes information technology as a key strategic advantage for Linfox. This role primarily serves Linfox Logistics Australia but may also extend to other areas of the business across Asia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
:

- Enterprise Architecture

: Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture capability within Linfox, aligning IT strategy with business unit strategies under the direction of the GM Strategy & Data Integration.
- Solution Architect Capability

: Enhance the solution architect capability, ensuring all IT projects have appropriate architectural oversight to derive business benefits efficiently while minimizing technical debt.
- Application Roadmaps
- Industry Evaluations

: Provide industry evaluations and recommendations on solution gaps at Linfox.
- Architecture Reviews

: Perform architecture reviews and assess compliance with architecture and organizational standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement

: Partner closely with business unit GMs and Presidents to understand stakeholder and customer needs.
- Team Alignment

: Lead and inspire the architecture team, ensuring they are aligned with the relevant IT GMs and business domains, delivering the desired outcomes.
- Direct reports

: 5 to 7

Are you the one?

You need to have:

- Proven leadership and strategic management experience and the ability to explain, present and influence complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels.
- At least 15 years' experience working in the IT function with a significant amount of time spent in an architecture role within a services-oriented organisation, ideally with experience in SAP transformations
- Experience in establishing and monitoring architectural governance frameworks.
- Experience building and leading a customer focused IT team (nationally and globally)
- Experience in performing architecture reviews and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to align team members with business domains and deliver desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
