About the Role

Mechanical / Electrical tradespersons are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills & Experience Required Proficient in safety protocols with experience in LOTO and proactive hazard reporting. Develop and implement Corrective Action plans, and put in place effective Preventative measures to prevent repeat issues from developing. Perform root cause analysis to prevent losses and machinery related downtime, recommending and implementing solutions to maximise efficiencies and to ensure production capabilities are achievable. Ensuring maintenance area and work area around machinery being worked on is maintained as required by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), housekeeping and food safety standards. Drive continuous improvement activities on equipment and processes and participate in cross-functional improvement teams.

About You

You are someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves to work alongside others in a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be an effective communicator with a customer service-focused personality who can engage with all levels of staff.

You will be highly organised, solutions focused with an eye for continuous improvement. Experience working with Operational Excellence Programs/Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage.

The following experience will be highly regarded experience with high speed packaging equipment, ideally in the food industry. Experience with pneumatics, understanding PLC's, gearboxes and motors. Continuous improvement/Lean Manufacturing and rolling out standard operating procedures. Have an understanding of electronic control systems. Be computer literate with Microsoft Office/ Excel
