We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Currimundi Outside School Hours Care.About The RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators.
You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.As The OSHC Coordinator You Will Be Responsible ForThe development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityQualificationsYou have Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)You have sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareYou thrive in delivering Excellent customer serviceYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themYou have a current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout The TeamYMCA Outside School Hours Care services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.

We have a team of staff who have completed their studies or are working towards meeting their career goals.
The children's program is aimed at providing them with opportunities to learn through a caring inclusive environment.
We are licensed for 90 children and offer before and after school care.Our Service philosophy very much reflects a child first approach with our Service's primary focus being "our environment" highlighting the importance of sustainability and "cultural acceptance and fairness".
