**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated **Mental Health Worker** to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain independence and enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities include personal care, community engagement, household tasks, and emotional and mental support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation to appointments, social outings, or community activities.
- Implement care plans and follow routines tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report any concerns to the appropriate team members.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or a similar role (preferred but not required).
- A caring and patient nature with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, etc.).
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (if required for transport assistance).
- Must be female due to personal care requirements.

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mental health counselling: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- proficient English (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
