We are seeking a seasoned Application Security Specialist to join our Sydney Cyber security team.
Main Responsibilities
Elevate secure development lifecycle practices within engineering teams, fostering collaboration between developers and cybersecurity experts.
Integrate and maintain application security scanning tools across CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Synk as the primary tool.
Automate security testing and vulnerability management within DevOps workflows, requiring expertise in devsecops tools and processes.
Conduct manual and automated security code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, necessitating a background in programming.
Support cloud security uplift across multi-cloud environments with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements
Proven experience in application security or secure software development.
Hands-on skills with SAST/DAST tools and integrating them into DevOps pipelines.
Proficiency with code vulnerability tools and classifying vulnerabilities.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles across the OSI stack and cloud-based environments.
