**The Role**
ALS Geochemistry is seeking an experienced
**Maintenance Supervisor** to join our sample preparation facility in
**Wangara**.

This
**Full-Time position** offers an opportunity to hone your people skills by supervising a small, established team of technicians with genuine people and a great culture. You will also run a successful maintenance department in a busy sample preparation facility.

**The day to day**
Responsibilities include:

- Supervision of a small maintenance team including scheduling work to meet demands
- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environmental management
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high safety standard
- Identify and mitigate risk prior to work commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to building a risk management culture
- Liaising directly with production supervisors, facility management and external contractors and suppliers
- Purchasing and maintaining stock levels of machine/component consumable stock levels

**The essentials**
- A high commitment to Safety
- Relevant Trade certificate preferably
- Current drivers' license (A class) manual
- Knowledge and skills in other trades, or a desire to learn.
- The ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
- Excellent work ethic
- A can-do attitude
- Drive and ability to develop and lead a team of maintenance staff.
- Ability to communicate across all levels
- Proven ability to handle a diverse workload
