**About the role**
The Aboriginal Health Team is a community-based health service located in Healesville available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families living anywhere in Eastern Health's catchment. The service adopts a holistic approach in line with cultural best-practice, and provides a broad range of services which are available both on-site in Healesville and through home visits and outreach.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Relevant community services qualification
- Ability to communicate and build connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Well developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with other staff, agencies and community
- Ability to practice both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to maintain records of tasks and activities taken on a daily basis
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
