This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known organisation based in the Newcastle region. Working within the national HR team and reporting to the HR Manager, you will be required to provide HR advice and support across multiple departments in various locations.

You will collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure you help the business achieve all HR operational goals. You will also work closely with the HR Manager, assisting with all performance management and employee relations matters, investigations, coaching and mentoring staff, grievances, as well as work on broader HR projects.

The key to your success in this role will be your ability to engage with the business and build strong relationships. No one day will ever be the same. You will easily switch your focus between the operational day-to-day duties and responsibilities into HR strategic planning and coaching. You will love the chance to create, coach, and improve.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reinforce HR policies, processes, and guidelines, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation for all HR matters;
- Assist and coach managers with grievances, conflict resolution, terminations, and all employee relations matters;
- Support managers through the end-to-end recruitment process within your portfolio
- Award and legislation interpretation;
- End-to-end workforce planning including; forecasting, job design, position descriptions, on-boarding new employees, inductions, and training

**About You**
To succeed in this role, you must have significant experience as a human resource professional in a large organisation. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills are critical success factors.
