We are renowned for our global reputation for quality products, continuous improvement & cutting-edge application of technology.Our mission:Serving Society with Superior QualityWe are seeking Trades Assistants or Welders to be trained further and work as a Wheel Repairers.Join our local team and become a key part of an Australia-wide business icon.The BenefitsMon-Fri role, 38 hour week with potential overtime$20,000 per year site allowance paid weeklyCareer development within the global Bridgestone business5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employmentAn extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestoneHealth checks / free flu shotsProduct discounts on Bridgestone TyresAdditional benefits & staff discountsThe RoleWork to best practice & the service standards of BMSA & our customersDiagnose/Identify & troubleshoot wheel and tyre damageEnsure all equipment used on site meets operational requirementsEnsure all work complies to BMSA Quality Management SystemsEnsure that any work task performed outside the identified Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) be risk assessed & reviewed by an appropriate supervisor prior to commencing work requiredEnsure all required documentation is accurately completedCarry out all work with a 'Safety First, Always' attitudeAbout You - EssentialAptitude and/or experience in metal fabrication or in a mechanical workshop/environmentForklift licence (LF) or ability to obtainStrong commitment to safety of yourself & othersFit & able to carry out manual labour requirementsPunctual, reliable & a team player with a can-do attitudeCurrent work rights in AustraliaAbout You - PreferredAdditional qualifications or certificates such as handling hazardous materials, painting, borer operation, drill operation, grit blasting, welding, fabrication etcValid drivers licence (HR preferred)Experience in the mining or related industriesJoin our local team within a global leader & access product discounts, extra leave & training opportunities.Pilbara Solutions Ctr, Wedgefield, Western Australia, Australia
