**Role Responsibilities**
- As we continue to evolve as the nation's foremost digital media company, News Corp is searching for an outstanding social media producer, exercising whip-smart judgement and a passion for social-media led storytelling
- As a social media specialist at News Corp, you'll know how to follow insights and analytics to expose our journalism to huge audiences and engage them through sharp writing and dynamic visual storytelling
- Working alongside the Social Media Editor, you'll assist with copywriting, producing, designing artwork, publishing and distributing content across social media channels to engage with and grow our audience and, ultimately, our subscriber base
- This is a hands-on role suitable for an entry-level social media native, capable of delivering world-class social media content and using constantly evolving best
- practice techniques
- Foster new and existing communities inside each social platform

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in the social media space, preferably in a news environment
- You live and breathe social platforms, and instinctively understand what a social audience likes (and dislikes)
- A willingness to shoot, edit and produce video and audio pieces for all platforms
- You are constantly trawling all platforms and analysing trends
- You want to be at the heart of what matters most to your audience - and be hungry to find ways to engage new audiences through great content
- Able to create and curate compelling and engaging social media content through sharp writing, news judgement, and use of visual storytelling tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva
- Excellent scheduling skills to stay afloat in a busy, "always on" news cycle
- A team player, supporting your teammates and 'jump in' to get things done
