Being a Support Worker is a vital position focused on supporting children and young people with significant disabilities.
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:
Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience.Hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent

About Us
Westhaven is, and will continue to be, the provider of choice for disability support services and accommodation across regional NSW. Westhaven provides client-centric, high quality programs and activities that provide whole of life support for people with disability, including offering houses that are homes, enabling choice and control and supporting clients to live life the way they choose.
About You
As a Support Worker, you will have:
Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to driveValid First Aid & CPR Certificate A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR)Availability to work across a 24/7 rosterMinimum Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support OR Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience.
A day in the role of a Children's Services Disability Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in offering essential care and support to children and young people who may be facing various challenges.
Work with individuals assisting with personal care and daily living skillsPlan and attend appointments and activities for social interaction and skill developmentComplete daily case notes, admin tasks, and incident reports
