**Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service (CVES)** is an Emergency Animal Hospital, providing an after-hours service, operating weeknights from 6pm to 8am, 24 hours on weekends and public holidays. Our practice is a purpose-built facility that offers state of the art equipment, with a full team of vet professionals that will mentor and support you in any emergency environment. You will work with a great team of professionals and friends. We are a hidden gem, with an abundant number of things to do all close to your home. From hiking, camping, mountain bike riding or even skiing, surfing and a day at the beach - This is the place for YOU

**About the Role** We are seeking a caring and compassionate Discharge Shift Veterinarian for our Canberra based hospital, CVES. Working primarily early to mid-mornings, Monday through Friday, you will facilitate the discharge of patients back to their owners, their primary clinics, or to our referring specialists. You will also have the option to pick up extra clinical hours, giving you the flexibility to curate your experience in the role

4:00am-8:30am Monday to Friday

- Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent)
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standards of care
- Passion for pets (naturally), with excellent animal handling skills
- Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia
- Exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills
- Interest in, and commitment to, working in a team environment
