About the role:
As part of the People Leadership Team, the People & Culture Partner ANZ plays a pivotal role in bringing the Spirit of Nando's to life. This means delivering our business, talent and culture strategic objectives while also providing direct generalist partnering with our central support office teams, which include marketing, finance, property, IT, central operations, legal and supply chain, across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
- Partnering Central Support_- Build strong partnerships with People Managers to deliver our values led people and organisational practices and initiatives- Develop and lead engagement activities enabling our Central Support office to become a magnetic, dynamic and fun environment to be in- Provide guidance on change management initiatives such as organisational design or job redesign- Employee lifecycle - Support People Managers recruitment requirements and partner with Talent Acquisition to identify right talent through to ensuring an amazing onboarding experience for all new Central Support employees as well as lead talent agenda for Central Support- Utilise diagnostic tools such as turnover, retention, exit interviews to gain understanding of functional employment practices and working with the LT member to address gaps, improve engagement and retention.
- Remuneration & Reward_- Work with Chief People Officer (CPO) to develop the right remuneration and benefits strategies and frameworks for Nando's to drive employee attraction, retention & motivation objectives- Manage the annual performance, incentive and remuneration review process.- Manage the re-introduction of the Partnership Program including criteria, nomination processes, engagement activities and ongoing monitoring- Develop and manage initiatives such as Nando's service recognition approach and employee benefits program, sourcing and managing external providers
- Cultural Champion - Spirit of Nando's_- Alongside the CPO, and entire People team, deliver the Spirit of Nando's cultural work - our way of embedding the Nando's DNA through all parts and people of our business- Lead a restaurant first mindset across Central Support, ensuring a clear understanding of the role of CS to enable Nando's ANZ to achieve growth ambitions.
Who are we looking for?- Tertiary degree level qualification in Human Resources- Proven experience in a HR generalist role and the ability to hit the ground running- Broad knowledge and experience managing all elements of the employee lifecycle- Experience in delivering cultural change programs, including the necessary project management, content creation and facilitation- Experience in reward and remuneration is highly desirable but not essential- Strong influencing & relationship building skills along with an ability to build rapport at all levels within the organisation
