About You About You: Are you driven by the challenge of perfecting both garment technical detail and the journey from concept to finished product?
KIVARI is searching for a talented Full-Time Garment Technician / Product Developer to bring technical precision and creative problem-solving-ensuring every piece embodies our high standards for fit, quality, and brand character.
Responsibilities Develop Tech Packs for initial designs, prototypes, and SMS-preserving creative vision while nailing technical accuracy and fit.
Interpret technical sketches into commercial prototypes, applying pattern making knowledge.
Attend fit sessions and translate outcomes into clear, practical technical solutions and spec amendments.
Support the full product lifecycle, from sketch sign-off through SMS delivery-always keeping to KIVARI's critical path.
Build and manage tech packs and BOMs with meticulous detail, providing offshore suppliers with all the clarity needed for flawless execution.
Measure, evaluate, and update sample specs to guarantee fit consistency and alignment with brand standards across collections.
Execute garment fittings and provide actionable post-fit guidance to suppliers, ensuring each style meets expectations.
Collaborate closely with Design and Production teams to align fabric, functionality, and price-point.
Liaise with offshore suppliers to communicate pattern/fit feedback, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor supplier and maker performance against construction, specification, and quality targets, actively identifying ways to boost efficiency or construction methods.
Maintain an organised, transparent product development system for easy tracking and data integrity.
Partner with the Product Development Manager and relevant internal stakeholders to keep every collection on track with seasonal direction and commercial goals.
Ad-hoc duties as requested.
Qualifications 3+ years' experience in apparel product development.
Proficient in Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Style Arcade experience an advantage.
Proven experience building accurate tech packs and working with offshore suppliers.
Good understanding of garment construction, finishing, and fabrication.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Willingness to learn and grow.
