We currently have an opportunity for a permanent Production Operator on Afternoon Shift at our Nestle Broadford Factory.
Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Main duties of the position
Participate in safety programs including Shift Risk Prediction/Take 5, Workplace Safety Inspections, defect tagging and key standard routines
Follow workplace quality assurance procedures and techniques
Complete standard practices/procedures of an operator
Share learnings and adopt procedural improvements to reduce/eliminate line loss
Complete SAP transactions / Digital Manufacturing Operations administration as required
Undertake improvement activities in the workplace as required
Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
Other duties as required by the Line Manager
The following qualities are considered desirable for this role
:
Work safely and within the guidelines of site work instructions
Time management skills & the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision- flexibility to work overtime as required
Effective problem-solving skills
Effective workplace communication skills
Experience working in a team environment to meet the production schedule
Attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Basic knowledge of the use of email and ability to enter data
