Hiring Manager: Timothy R JacksonRecruiter: Aislinn RocheAbout The RoleThe Associate Director - Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) – ANZ is responsible for driving commercial execution, market expansion and team development across Australia and New Zealand.
This role leads a high-performing sales and clinical team, sets strategic direction, and champions cross-functional collaboration to deliver value to patients, clinicians, and procurement partners.You will shape and execute commercial strategy, oversee sales and clinical execution, and foster talent development, while aligning with broader Rhythm Solutions and Boston Scientific goals.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with a strong commercial mindset, deep healthcare expertise, and a passion for innovation, strategy and change enablement.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop the CRM commercial team, including direct reports who themselves manage teams, ensuring capability development, talent retention and a strong performance-driven culture across ANZ Foster a robust leadership culture and ensure organisational success and successionCultivate a performance-driven, inclusive culture focused on patient outcomes and professional growth StrategyDevelop and execute national sales strategies aligned with financial goals and market opportunities, identifying growth opportunities and optimizing business performanceDevelop national sales and incentive plans to drive above-market growthPartner with Marketing and Corporate Accounts on market-driven, value-based pricing strategiesLead annual Strategic Planning process in close collaboration with RS Marketing colleaguesCustomer & Market DevelopmentLead development of commercial strategies for clinicians, procurement stakeholders, and health systemsChampion value-based selling approaches, leveraging service and data insightsEnsure field readiness and market penetration for new product launchesOperational & Financial ManagementNational P&L responsibility, including revenue, margin and inventory performanceLead Development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Manage national territory sales plans and incentive programsOversee consigned and rep-managed inventory, ensuring availability and complianceCross-Functional & Strategic InitiativesPartner with marketing, education, corporate accounts, HEGA, and supply chain teams to drive operational execution and commercial excellence.Implement service strategy in collaboration with stakeholders to improve KPIs and patient experienceProvide market insights and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decision-makingGovernance & ComplianceEnsure all commercial activities meet regulatory, legal and ethical standards.Foster a culture of accountability, transparency and integrity.Actively participate in MTAA's Cardiac Forum to advocate for industry and customer needsKey Competencies Required For SuccessPeople DevelopmentCreates comprehensive talent management plans and bench strength within the organization.
