Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Senior planning Manager / Head of Planning for a premium menswear division. This is a newly created role and will be pivotal in the success and growth of the brand. As a greenfield role there is lots of scope / opportunity to make the role your own.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Participate in the development of the seasonal merchandise strategy
- OTB management
- Management of inventory
- Coaching and mentoring of allocators and junior planners
- Analysis of the portfolio including monitoring for continuous improvement
- Drive financial targets such as gross profit, stock turn and sell through

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience as a Merchandise Planner, preferably in Menswear
- An ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel
