As a Test Automation Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge test automation strategies for our clients. Your expertise in various tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TOSCA, HPMC, and UFT will enable you to create high-quality automation frameworks.The role involves reviewing existing models and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. You will also work on defining automation frameworks for project/program execution models that allow our clients to adapt to changing technology landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and executing test scripts on a regular basis
Investigating issues and collaborating with teams to improve testing efficiency through automation and increase test coverage
Mentoring team members and recommending new tools and methodologies
Managing stakeholders effectively
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science from an accredited institution
At least 10-15 years of experience in Information Technology
Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline
Desired Skills
Complete ownership of preparing test automation solutions, designing automation frameworks, and leading implementation of test strategy
Experience in API/Microservices Testing & Automation using Rest Assured, Postman
Expertise in driving shift left in new ways of working, Agile, and DevOps
Experience in Continuous Integration environment with knowledge on Configuration+ Build+ Release management
Experience in working with CI/CD processes and tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket
Additionally, exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering space, like RPA, Analytics-driven testing, usage of AI/ML in QA, is desirable.
