Due to an internal move, an exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Commerical Analyst.

**Role & Responsibility**

Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

- Review Sales and GP actual results on a weekly basis
- Provide insightful analysis and clear commentary by working with the Category Managers and
- Merchandise Managers on key drivers for performance trends
- Accurately forecast future Sales and GP for weekly outlooks, forecasts, budgeting and strategic
- planning processes as well as identify possible opportunities and risks
- Identify opportunities to improve category results end to end
- Partner with stakeholders to develop workable action plans in relation to adverse trends
- Identify and implement opportunities that improve processes across the Food Group Finance team

**Profile**

To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:

- CIMA, CA, CPA qualified or working towards
- Previous experience as a Commercial Analyst, ideally within a commercial function
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal communication and critical thinking skills
- Ideally, 2-3 years relevant experience
- Ability to work constructively within a team
