Personal Farewells are seeking a Funeral Administration Assistant to join our growing family funeral service located in the Sutherland Shire. This position interacts directly with families on the phone and in person during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of personalised customer service.

**About us**:
Personal Farewells Funeral Services is a family owned and operated service in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. We service all areas of Sydney and Wollongong. This role will requires a **Part time Administration Assistant to commit to 15 - 25 hours per week in our Heathcote office**, with the flexibility to work additional hours on occasion when requested.

**As a Funeral Administration Assistant you will be responsible for;**
- telephonist duties
- administration responsibilities
- social media marketing
- organising and coordinating with the set-up and assistance with funeral services, memorial services, and other facets of funeral care.
- Competent keyboard / computing and telephone operating skills
- Exceptional communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Social Media advertising experience including Facebook & Instagram marketing
- Competent data entry with exceptional attention to detail
- Well versed with the following computer programs; Word, Excel, Outlook
- Be people oriented and be able to communicate effectively
- Be sensitive and compassionate to grieving families, their values and beliefs
- Aligned interpersonal skills to work in a close team environment
- The ability to respond appropriately to client / family concerns
- A current unrestricted drivers license
- Flexible availability

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
