**My Client**

My client is a large reputable business based in Western Sydney, who are an industry leader in their business streams. They have a down-to-earth yet high-performing finance team. Offering a strong culture of inclusion and career development.

**The Opportunity**

This is a newly created management role (1 direct report) to support integration of a fast-growing BU into the groups GL team, support BAU accounting and provide business partnering to internal clients providing commentary and suggestions to improve efficiency, optimise cost measures and revenue.

In addition to the project accounting, there is a significant element of analysis that is a part of this role.

The Finance Business Partner/Commercial Manager assists the Head of Finance in their primary responsibility of ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial reporting process and ensuring internal controls and procedures are adhered to.

Finally, you will participate in a key project when you start, with a particular focus on integrating/streamlining newly acquired business.

**About you (WHAT YOU POSSESS)**
- Complete CA/CPA qualifications
- Previous working experience in a medium to large business
- Experience with project accounting (desired)
- Experience within a services industry would be ideal - construction, contracting, manufacturing, etc.
- Strong business acumen and ability to deal with business challenges and relate to non-finance stakeholders, both internal and external
