Criterion Industries is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the role of Trade Desk and Despatch Assistant at Criterion Glendenning NSW. As a key player on our trade desk, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service, utilising your product knowledge and commitment to building excellent customer relationships, and ensuring our customers receive their deliveries in full, and on time

**Primary Purpose of Position**:

- Assist valued customers with demonstrated product knowledge, expert advice, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Manage face-to-face customer requests in the Trade sales area, supporting both external and internal customers.
- Assist the Warehouse and Logistics Manager with Despatch and Warehouse duties as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meet and greet customers, providing support for placing orders, picking up orders, and offering technical advice.
- Provide telephone and face-to-face support for Customer Service and Operations.
- Manage and monitor back orders daily, taking appropriate actions to minimise customer delays.
- Actively manage activities (e.g., returns) that can result in customer refunds.
- Assist with customer Service duties as required (calls and cases).
- Assist with the maintenance of the retail displays, ensuring all are full and visually appealing to customers.
- Assist with Despatch and Warehouse duties as required.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated product knowledge and expertise in customer service (desired).
- Proven experience in face-to-face customer interaction, ideally in a trade desk or similar role.
- Warehouse/Despatch experience (or similar roles), desired.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
