Key Role: Test Automation Architect
The primary objective of this role is to establish and implement high-quality test automation frameworks that drive efficiency and productivity in software development lifecycle.
This position demands a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge and expertise in automation testing tools, methodologies, and technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests using leading-edge tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, and TOSCA.
A key aspect of this role is collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify areas where automation can be leveraged to enhance the overall quality and delivery speed of software products.
Core Responsibilities:
Define and implement test automation strategies aligned with business objectives
Review existing automation frameworks and suggest improvements for enhanced efficiency
Develop and maintain high-quality automated tests using industry-leading tools
Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
No less than 10-15 years of experience in Information Technology
Expertise in automation testing tools and methodologies
Desirable Skills:
Experience with API/Microservices testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tooling
Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
Bonus Attributes:
Familiarity with latest trends in Quality Engineering space, such as RPA, Analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML in QA
Knowledge of Playwright automation tool and mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile
