A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Tooling Technician, who will ensure that our growing number of LSR moulding tools are maintained to the highest standards to support our high volume and precision manufacturing cells.

The primary responsibility of a Tooling Technician within the Moulding Maintenance Team is to provide routine tooling repair and maintenance activities and tooling breakdown support within the production floor.

Let's talk about the role
- Repair and maintain injection moulding tools
- Provide timely breakdown support of daily production tooling issues
- Engage with and provide support to internal production stakeholders, toolmakers and external suppliers
- Effectively communicate and document tasks, processes and issues
- Coordinate mould tool repair and maintenance with the production team to ensure weekly production schedules are supported
- Contribute to continuous improvement of mould tool maintenance and related production processes
- Comply with ResMed's WHS and GMP requirements in your area of work
- Conduct basic moulding activities to achieve acceptable moulded components

Let's talk about you
- Tradesperson in toolmaking or fitter machinist
- Experience in plastic injection-moulding; LSR experience advantageous
- Experience in a high-volume moulding production environment
- Willingness to undertake new and exciting challenges
- A team player who has ability proactively raise issues or concerns that relate to safety, quality, or continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail
