About the role
The position provides clinical care within the Prison Mental Health Service which provides specialist mental health services to Correctional Centres in South East Queensland.
The PMHS provides a multi-disciplinary in reach service to people who are incarcerated in correctional centres across south east Queensland. The primary goal of PMHS is to identify those individuals who have a severe mental illness or are at risk of developing mental illness while incarcerated.
About you
- Uphold the organisation's values in your everyday actions as well as adhering to the Code of Conduct to consistently behave in an honest, ethical and professional way.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the Queensland Public Mental Health Services (QPMHS) Models of Service Delivery Framework and how these models guide Adult Mental Health Service Delivery.
- You will provide leadership and accountability for the day to day activity of a clinical team within the Forensic and Secure Service.
- You will possess well-developed clinical knowledge and skills in forensic mental health care and in the management of contemporary mental health service delivery

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
