About the role:
BaptistCare is one of Australia's largest home care providers and at the forefront of service quality and innovation. Due to growth, BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for our Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) in the Cowra, Young, Canowindra and surrounds.
This key role delivers evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions under Aged Care Funding to help clients regain independence and continue living at home. Together as a team, we help people feel loved, valued, and respected.
Permanent daytime schedules apply to this role with no weekend or shift work required.

To be successful in the role, you must possess:
A Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
Proven ability to assess occupational therapy needs and design tailored programs for aged care clients within the community.
Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings.
Thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.
Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work.
Commitment to understanding and upholding BaptistCare's Christian identity, actively promoting organisational values through professional interactions.
Hold a current first aid certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.
Possess a valid unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
