**The role**:
Prospa is hiring an Analyst to join the Credit Risk Portfolio Management team, reporting to the Manager, Credit Risk. This team sits within Strategy and Commercial and reports to the Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer.

In this role, you'll monitor customer behaviour across products and regions, focusing on portfolio performance and credit risk data quality. You'll maintain risk data pipelines, follow best practices, and work closely with other analysts and the data team.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work closely with Credit Risk, Credit Ops, Sales, Collections, and Finance to ensure loss rates stay within Board-approved risk appetite.
- Support the Manager in:

- Deep dives into portfolio performance to deliver actionable insights to senior leaders.
- Managing arrears, loss indicators (30+, 90+), ECL and forecasts using data-driven analysis.
- Collaborating with Finance, Tech, and Collections to ensure accurate loss reporting and forecasting.
- Leading data migration efforts, defining metrics, and building dashboards (Tableau/Power BI).
- Enhancing and monitoring forecasting and ECL models.
- Partner with Credit Decision Engine and Credit Settings teams to assess the impact of origination changes and provide feedback on risks/opportunities.
- Maintain and improve risk data systems, including definitions and accuracy across business functions.
- Ensure all code is version controlled.
- Actively contribute to a strong team culture, aligned with Credit Risk's values and ways of working.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Strong SQL skills required; Power BI, Python (especially functional programming), and Databricks experience desirable.
- Able to solve business problems by recommending, planning, and delivering data-driven solutions on time.
- Curious and open to experimenting with new methods, sharing learnings with the team.
- Strong communication skills — able to interpret data and present clear, compelling stories to both internal and external stakeholders.
- 2+ years' experience in Credit Risk portfolio management or analytics preferred, but strong technical skills and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
