**The Organisation**

This well-established health organisation is searching for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract. This role is best suited to someone who can start immediately or at short notice.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

- End to end payroll processing on a weekly and monthly payroll
- Entering new starters through to payment and terminations
- Calculating superannuation, leave entitlements, award interpretation
- Review of the Time & Attendance Data feed
- Leave calculations including parental, long service, annual, sick & workers comp etc.
- Reconciliation of superannuation and payroll tax
- Assisting with payroll queries and enquiries as required
- Interpretation of awards, agreements and contracts as well as processing annual leave and termination calculations.
- Ad hoc filing and general payroll administration tasks as well as process improvements.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience working in a payroll function doing end to end Payroll processes
- Exposure to various payroll systems and be confident with the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders in a professional mannner
- Great attention to detail and a proactive attitude
