A Slice of Life empowers people with a disability to live their best life, with the care and support they need to achieve their goals.

We work with clients in Sydney's east and inner west to participate in the community, attend to daily activities and appointments and improve their life skills.

For our one on one care, you may be required to take clients to appointments, assist them to plan, prepare and shop for meals, help with light housework or simply go for a walk and coffee. These clients often have mental health needs.

For our group support work for young adults with mild intellectual disabilities, you may be required to attend social activities (mainly weekend work) or support clients on trips away.

There may also be opportunities to attend expos and centre based activities.

We focus on social and community engagement and capacity building for our clients. We do not provide personal care, ie showering and toileting.

We're looking for part time and casual workers to join our growing team.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- First Aid & CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (Essential)
- National Police Certificate (Essential)
- NDIS Workers Check (Essential)
- Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Own vehicle with insurance (Essential)
- Covid vaccinated (Essential)
- Cert III or IV Community Services or Cert IV Disability (Desirable but not essential)
- Right to work in Australia

- Happy to work within an empowering framework to support the client to gain independence and life skills in a supported environment

- Ability to write case notes and report on any incidents

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 3-30 per week

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour
