We are on the hunt to find a passionate automotive technician looking to advance their career, develop leadership capability, and join us as Automotive 2IC at our Pakenham store. With growth plans across our store networks this is a great opportunity to build you capability and progress into Store Management or other leadership roles with Fulcrum.
Your passion for all things automotive will set you apart of the rest and is critical to your success with us. You'll be a qualified automotive technician competently supporting your team in the workshop while also keeping on top of administrative tasks. You will be joining a skilled and experienced welcoming team and fully supported by your Store Manager and Retail Operations Team.
**As Automotive 2IC, you will**:

- Lead the Team: Guide technicians and apprentices to perform at their best and provide expert advice and troubleshooting. Fill in as a manager at your store, or others in our network for sickness or leave coverage.
- Customer satisfaction: Take the time to listen + explain to customers, seek to solve their problems and demonstrate your technical knowledge so that they get enough information to make the right decisions.
- Innovate and Collaborate: Work with our R&D team to solve problems and improve our processes.
- Achieve Results: Keep the workshop running smoothly through effective people and task utilisation, improving productivity measures and exceptional quality of work.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
**Education**: A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (required)
**Team Player**: Enjoy efficiently working alongside your team and sharing your expertise and be excited to develop the skills of junior technicians.
**Passionate About Quality**: Committed to delivering top-notch workmanship, meticulous and precise in your work and interact effectively with customers.
