**About the company**

The Be Daring Group, trading retail shops, an eCommerce business and Daring Adult Wholesale has been trading since 1992. Be Daring has a 31yr long and successful history, winning numerous awards including 'Best Adult Retail Chain' 2023 at both the Australian Adult Industry Awards and the Adult Choice Awards.

**About the role**

A fun, easy to sell product in a fabulous professional team environment with training & guidance by expert retailers.

We are seeking a sales consultant employed on a casual basis. The successful applicant will be available to work most of our trading hours as required. While many of the hours are evening and weekend, applicants will be required to work dayshifts as necessary for support shifts as well as to cover RDO's, personal leave etc.

Important: This position does not suit an applicant with a full-time day job or those seeking weekend and evening work only.

The successful applicant must demonstrate an affinity for this industry and be prepared to test and review free sample product to gain an insight into product features and effectiveness.

**Duties**

Sales staff are responsible for day-to-day operations when they are rostered. This includes:

- Store Open / Close
- Sales
- Merchandising
- All necessary day to day operations.

**Skills, Experience and Prerequisites**
- MUST be aged 18yrs or older.
- MUST be available to work the majority of Be Daring's trading hours.
- MUST have professional standards of personal presentation.
- MUST have good computer skills & reasonable keyboard speed (min 25wpm)
- MUST own a telephone.
- MUST have driver's license and own vehicle (due to late night trading)
- MUST be prepared to appear in social media photographs and/or video.
- MUST be able to work without a cigarette break when rostered alone.
- MUST be available to work at a 2nd store if required for an emergency shift.
- Previous sales background an advantage, but good salespeople sell themselves.

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
