Adore Beauty is Australia's go-to beauty destination and our retail footprint is expanding. We're searching for a Visual Merchandise Manager to shape how our brand comes to life in physical spaces. This role goes beyond traditional VM. You'll own the full brand experience in-store — from layouts and digital screens to activations, storytelling, and campaign execution.
You'll work across Creative, Commercial, Marketing, and Store teams to build immersive, customer-first experiences that are distinctly Adore. From store openings to national activations, you'll set the standard for how beauty feels IRL.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute in-store brand and VM strategies aligned to business goals
Own the look and feel of all customer-facing physical environments
Partner with our brands, marketing and merchandise teams to translate campaigns into engaging in-store executions
Lead the delivery of promotional activations, masterclasses, and retail theatre
Regularly visit stores and ensure brand experience is consistent, engaging, and high-performing
Be a key figure in our store openings, working with our teams to merchandise the stores
Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Tech and CX, to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences
Track effectiveness of in-store campaigns and identify opportunities to improve

Who You Are:
You're equal parts strategic and hands-on someone who can zoom out to shape the big picture and roll up your sleeves to bring it to life. You understand how great retail experiences are built: through sharp commercial thinking, creative storytelling, and flawless execution.
You know how to lead from the front and empower others. You're passionate about building capability within store teams, giving them the tools, training, and confidence to execute beautifully, consistently, and with pride.
You can translate brand vision into physical reality, manage multiple stakeholders, and bring together creative, commercial and operational teams to deliver with impact.
You bring:
10+ years' experience in visual merchandising, retail marketing or brand experience
At least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally across multi-site operations
Experience building brand environments from scratch or scaling new concepts
Strong commercial acumen – you understand ROI and how to maximise budgets
Ability to manage competing priorities and lead through ambiguity
A passion for retail, beauty, and creating spaces that make people stop and take notice
