**The Role**:
As part of our continued growth, Brennan IT is seeking an dynamic, energetic and customer facing Managed Services Consultant L1.

As a key member of the Managed Services team, you will be providing onsite and remote 1st level support to our Managed Services client. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity that requires someone that has the ability to solve the most complex, high-impact challenges faced by our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

The role requires a reasonable degree of technical skill across a broad range of areas in IT infrastructure and a good understanding of ITIL processes.

The successful applicant will be required to travel to client site and based in Brisbane.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Provide L1 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues
- Provide onsite support at client locations on behalf of service delivery teams and resolve technical issues
- Proactively managing our client's IT environments
- Conducting problem management to ensure the root cause of issues is addressed
- Take ownership of your assigned clients, and ensure we deliver excellence in customer service
- Maintain and administer systems, which includes Desktops (Windows OS), Microsoft Office suite, basic printing and Windows server support. Also includes end user support and liaising with 3rd party vendors as needed.
- Maintain effective communications with your clients

**What skills you will bring to the team**:

- At least 2 years in a similar role is essential: Microsoft - Windows Server, O365, Windows 7-10, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare and Virtualization support
- Ability to travel to different client sites within Brisbane for onsite support
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proven ability to work across teams, and to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and staff
- Assertive communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone, interpersonally and written
- Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting support issues across numerous enterprises is essential
- Good time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Current Microsoft certifications and working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL service management foundation.
- Experience with LAN and WAN networks would be an advantage

**Desirable**
- Prior experience within an outsourced service delivery environment or MSP
- Industry based technical certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, EMC, Cisco, HP)
- ITIL certification

**Note**: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
