We are genuinely committed to live our values and walk the talk.SIMPEC have been awarded the SMPE&I construction and Installation of a demonstration-scale chemicals facility within the Pilgangoora Plant for Pilbara Minerals.We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis working a FIFO 2:1 roster at Pilgangoora, Marble Bar.

The RoleImplementing, maintaining, coordinating, and expediting the procurement and construction elements for the designated work area.Provide direction and support to site team of engineers for the execution of the project.Identifying and resolving technical engineering issues and associated problems which may arise throughout the duration of the project.Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.Creating work packs, test packs; estimation & site variations.Presenting project progress updates to senior management and clients.Developing and monitoring KPIs and analysing productivity factors against program and budgetIntegrate the engineering team's work with all other project departments (i.e. quality, commercial, HSE, supervision, employee relations and project controls).
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actionsContribute, as required, to the compilation of the project MDR and closeout of the project.About YouBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in Mining Construction or Sustaining Capital Works - involving electrical and instrumentation installation.Demonstrated understanding of governing standards in Mining Construction particularly Australian Standards.Demonstrated understanding of relevant electrical safety standards, such as AS/NZS 3000 (Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules), is mandatory.Excellent time management skills and a strong ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesWell-developed interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.Proficiency in modelling and drawing software such as Naviswork Simulate, MS Project and/or BluebeamIf this sounds like you then apply now, we would love to hear from you
