Senior Electrical Engineer

NES Fircroft is partnering with a tier 1 resources client to source a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Perth-based project team, focusing on site electrification across their WA assets.

Benefits

- $100 per hour + superannuation
- 6-month initial contract with a strong project pipeline for the coming years
- Work closely with multi-discipline engineering and project teams to ensure project progress
- Perth-based role with WFH flexibility

About You

- Proven experience with substations, power generation, and utilities
- Demonstrated experience in LV & HV electrical engineering within an Australian mining context (Iron Ore experience highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job Role

- Review electrical designs and ensure adherence to required electrical standards
- Develop and maintain project documentation to required standards
- Manage relevant equipment packages and coordinate procurement/contracts with vendors
- Work closely with the broader project team to ensure milestones are met
