QA Coordinator, Eastern suburbs, $80,000 + super

Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this company is renowned for providing high quality laser cutting & marking services at competitive prices and are looking for an experienced QA Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be expected to ensure all orders are thoroughly checked, correct and accurate before being released for production. Ensuring correct scheduling and smooth flow of production is essential in this role. Managing all aspects of the NTLC Quality Management System whilst ensuring compliance in all areas of certification is a huge focus.
- Monitor and reduce errors and rework, ensuring quality remains at exceptional levels.
- Oversee pre-production checks (information, bill of materials, raw materials and W/C availability) and scheduling of all work schedules
- Ensure quality, service and delivery performance are at exceptional levels and always improving
- Quality control, including enforcing all systems and procedures in conjunction with the Production Manager
- Finding the root cause of any problems with any orders or jobs and solving that issue to ensure it does not repeat in future in conjunction with the Production Manager
- Ensuring KPIs are achieved or exceeded

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong steel background - this is essential in this role.

You will also have at least 2 years experience in a Quality Coordinator or Quality Engineer role.
