Cloud Data Architect Position
As a seasoned Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge data platforms using Databricks and modern cloud technologies. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our team of experts in shaping the future of data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive solution architectures that cater to current, transitional, and future states
Lead the integration of Databricks solutions for Core Data Platforms, ensuring seamless scalability and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reuse, scalability, and compliance in every design
Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring architecture alignment and quality standards
Mentor architects and analysts while collaborating with vendors and partners to foster innovation and growth
Requirements:
Proven experience in solution architecture, preferably within the financial services sector
Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in architecture or design roles
Strong knowledge of Databricks, cloud platforms, data architecture, and APIs is essential
Experience in architecting using cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable
Background in software design, agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks is required
TOGAF certification or equivalent is preferred
Excellent communication and consulting skills are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement
