Seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support a state government project

**Your new company**

A state government department based in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support a major project for 12 months. You will initially be engaged on a temporary basis, and will be paid at a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**
As the Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of the department's integrated management system
- Implement, monitor and review OSH requirements within the department
- Undertake regular site inspections, contractor audits and reports on contractor compliance following safety processes
- Provide advice to stakeholders around OSH matters
- Identify safety risks associated with infrastructure construction and communicate findings to management
- Participate in risk assessment workshops and coordinate risk management programs

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate previous safety advisory experience, along with:

- Completion or progression towards a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Completion of a required medical examination to verify physical fitness to perform position duties
- WA "C" or "C-A" driver's licence and own vehicle
