Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution within the AMS program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role involves managing sub-contract opportunities developed by the AMS Business Development Manager across all ANCA Group business units, as well as developing plans and procedures to enhance the quotation and production processes for external markets.
Key Responsibilities Establish project requirements and scope, collaborating with manufacturing engineers and production managers.
Create detailed project schedules with clear milestones and ensure progress through regular check-ins.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure accessibility for all stakeholders.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within engineering sub-departments.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise, with an understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal manufacturing, and electrical assembly.
Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear project reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated understanding of Defence and Aerospace standards (AS9100) and project management best practises.
Desirable: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or relevant trade certifications.
