Young Academics is a dynamic and rapidly growing Early Learning Provider, with over 40+ centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented **Financial Administration Assistant** to join our Head Office team in a **dual capacity**.

**About the Role**

**Full-time, 3-Month Fixed Term Contract (with potential for extension)**

This role will be split between supporting our Finance Department (3 days) and assisting the Property & Facilities Manager (2 days).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to broaden their administrative and financial skill set.

**Key Responsibilities** **Finance Support (3 Days per Week)**:

- Assist with general account reconciliations and data entry.
- Process and track payments and invoice submissions through our online AP system.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and cross-check service reports prior to payment.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

**Property & Facilities Support (2 Days per Week)**:

- Manage and maintain the facilities system database.
- Log, track, and prioritise maintenance requests received from centres via the online system.
- Coordinate reactive repairs and preventive maintenance with vendors and centres.
- Support the planning and execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs.
- Obtain and compare quotes for services.
- Triage the Facilities Inbox and escalate urgent matters appropriately.
- Assist in managing supplier contracts and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

**About You**
- Prior experience in finance, accounts administration or facilities coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoice reconciliation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working across teams and with external vendors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using **Xero and/or Sysynkt**_ _**is highly regarded.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn.
